Baysway Kennel is a leading Irish breeder of English Cocker Spaniels. The Baysway line was started by William McEntee in the 1960's. This is a small family run hobby kennel where love of the dog is as important as love of the breed.

We pride ourselves on the good nature of the dogs we breed. If you wish a family pet or if you want to competively show your dog, the English cocker spaniel is eager to please. They are a family friendly dog with a bright and alert nature.

Our cockers have a wonderful friendly temperament. Our puppies are socialised both by with their cocker kennel mates and also by the numerous grandchildren that come to visit. As such they are well adjusted to the normal household environments, noise and handling.

We will only allow puppies to go to carefully vetted and suitable homes. Cockers after all trive in loving homes where they get the attention they deserve. We only have a small number of litters each year, so occasionally have puppies available. We do not breed to order and should you require a pup, please phone us (not email) so we may add you to our lists.

We consider we owe a lifetime commitment to our puppies and we will always take back any of our pups should they find themselves in need of a new home whatever the circumstances might be, - however old they might be. As such we also occasionally have older pups/young adults looking for retirement homes. Should you be of slower pace and require a loving cocker in tune with your needs - please don't hesitate to contact us. We will endeavour to match your needs from our own or through contacts with other reputable cocker breeders.

Our lads welcome Stud enquires from approved ladies. We would ask that you send a copy of the ladies pedigree to us, this can be emailed or posted in advance.
